Tuesday, 15 October 2013 The Board Director, Individual Accountability and the new regulatory environment We are delighted to invite you to a presentation on individual accountability in the corporate environment. In recent years we have seen an increasing focus on individual accountability in the workplace, specifically at Board level. With a new regulatory environment beginning to take shape under the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), now is a good time to understand the role of these two authorities and the impact of their increased focus on individuals. Our presentation will cover:
- A brief overview of the changing regulatory environment and key messages from the PRA and the FCA
- The increasing focus on individual responsibility and what it might mean for you and members of your senior management team, specifically the Board Director and for the approved person
- A brief overview of what a Senior person may expect from an interview with the PRA or FCA
- What it means to be regulated in practice – an experience shared including recent actions and enforcements
The speakers are: Nadia Swann is a Partner in Linklaters’ Financial Regulation Group. Fiona King is Head of EMEA GBS Regulatory Group & Client Asset Oversight Officer, Deutsche Bank AG. Registration starts at 6.00pm on Tuesday, 15 October 2013 and the cost is £20.00 for members and £25.00 for non-members and guests.
